Job Title: Finance Manager

Salary - Upto 2 Lakh Per Month

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of our exporting operations, including proper collection of export receivables, ensuring prompt delivery of export documentation, financial planning and analysis, compliance with regulatory requirements, credit negotiations, cost optimization, cash flow management, risk management, stakeholder relations, and team leadership and development.

Responsibilities:

1. Proper Collection of Export Receivables:

- Develop and implement effective procedures for the speedy collection of export receivables.

- Monitor and manage outstanding export receivables to ensure timely collection and minimize credit risk.

2. Ensuring Prompt Delivery of Export Documentations:

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of export documentations to facilitate smooth export transactions.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to expedite the export documentation process.

3. Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Lead financial planning efforts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making.

- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to optimize financial performance and drive business growth.

4. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

- Monitor the preparation and submition of accurate financial reports in compliance with regulatory requirements, including RBI, CUSTOMS, income tax, GST, and other applicable regulations.

- Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and compliance with internal controls and procedures.

5. Bank Interest and Charges Management:

- Manage bank interest expenses and charges through effective negotiation and financial management strategies.

- Monitor banking relationships and explore opportunities to reduce banking costs.

6. Optimization of Production Cost:

- Analyze and optimize production costs to improve efficiency and profitability.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce production expenses.

7. Freight Cost Control:

- Monitor and control freight costs, including ocean and transportation costs, to ensure cost effective shipping.

- Evaluate shipping options and negotiate favorable rates with logistics providers.

8. Finding New Sources of Cost-Effective Finance:

- Identify and evaluate new sources of cost-effective financing to meet the company's capital requirements.

- Assess financing options and negotiate terms with financial institutions to secure favorable financing arrangements.

9. Cash Flow Management:

- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

- Implement cash flow forecasting and monitoring processes to optimize cash utilization and minimize liquidity risks.

10. Monitoring Export and Import Shipments:

- Monitor and track export and import shipments to ensure timely delivery and minimize operational disruptions.

- Coordinate with logistics partners to address any shipping issues and optimize shipping processes.

11. Risk Management:

- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to safeguard company assets and ensure business continuity.

- Implement risk management strategies and controls to mitigate exposure to market, credit, and operational risks.

12. Stakeholder Relations:

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, financial institutions, regulators, and other external partners.

- Communicate financial performance, forecasts, and strategies effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

13. Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountants, MBA Finance or advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience (5 years) in a finance leadership role, preferably in the exporting or FOOD and agricultural industry.

- Strong knowledge of financial principles, Tax related Matters practices, and regulations.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.

- Proficiency in financial planning, analysis, and reporting

- Solid understanding of risk management principles and techniques.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?200,000.00 per month

Education:

• Master's (Preferred)

Experience:

• SPICE IMPORT EXPORT: 2 years (Required)
• total work: 5 years (Preferred)
