• Engage and drive the Change Strategy for the Account Reconciliation Process.
• Collaborate with the reconciliation team to provide guidance, training, and support in improving process efficiency and accuracy.
• Verify that reconciliations are completed in a timely manner and that any identified discrepancies or issues are resolved promptly.

Process Quality Assurance and Control

• Develop and institutionalize the Peer Review Audit process with alignment with key stakeholders.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of account reconciliation processes to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Identify and assess potential risks within the reconciliation process especially around the quality of reconciliations and develop recommendations for improvement. This can include sample review of reconciliation documentation, supporting schedules, and related financial records for accuracy and completeness.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices related to account reconciliation and incorporate them into the review process.
• Engage in continuous evaluation and enhancement of the review process to ensure its effectiveness in detecting and preventing reconciliation errors.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to management based on the findings of review to drive process improvements and mitigate risks.
• Assist management in implementing and monitoring corrective actions resulting from reviews.
• Engage in creation and delivery on monthly reporting process metrics and KPIs.

Controllership Technology Transformation

• To engage in a multiyear global project focussed on introduction of standard policies / procedures with an objective to deploy a standard global platform.
• Engage with other SMEs to align on standard operating procedure and definition of functional requirements.
• Engage in socialization of the tool and change management activities including governance over user training development.
• Engage in any root cause analysis to identify process improvements to improve the overall efficiency related to the Account recon processes.
• Engage on need basis on various process improvement initiatives to optimize the finance processes for any related controllership Record To Report processes.
• Post implementation project hyper care support and engagement in planning of subsequent rollouts on need basis.
