IT Platforms is a core component of new Vodafone Digital and IT function. Our Operating Model is transforming as per our Tech2025 strategy and aligned to the vision of products and platforms.Product-based means the product roadmap items are prioritized by Product Owners and their business counterparts. Initiatives don\'t get their own team, they are packaged within pre-existing product-mode teams. Product has its own authority, ownership and end-to-end accountability throughout the value chain delivering business value.Product teams are critically supported by platforms and services that deliver the core capabilities, skills and scalability that allow for an efficient and effective overall organization.Finance IT Senior Product Manager in its area of concern, as part of IT Platforms Finance Product Team, looks after a portfolio of products in Finance space across all finance business areas and processes in Vodafone relying on CIS and the extended scope covered by all our applications and third-party solutions to support daily operations, like S4, Concur, Ariba. Finance Senior IT Product Manager will support and drive the product(s) roadmap in partnership with the business across all areas of Finance. The Finance IT Senior Product Manager will shape the finance solution and take accountability of the topics related to the Finance products to and have the 360 vision of all the elements related to it as well as the points of integration with other products (e.g. SCM) and the relationship with others IT Product Managers to ensure the alignment and consistency of the full product portfolio. This role will be the go-to expert within the Finance solution area.Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • The senior product manager is accountable for the quality and delivery of the CIS Finance solution for the products under its remit ensuring compliance with Security, Architecture, Privacy/GDPR, SOX and Audit Controls
  • Define and deliver product roadmaps to meet the needs of the business for products assigned, engaging with the relevant stakeholders to collect requirements/user stories, define dependencies with other Products/Projects as well as assess impacts; approve solution changes (upgrades/patches) linked to the products
  • Work hand in hand with Community of Practice (CoP) Leads, Business Product Owners, Process Governance, Shared Service Centres, System Integrators and other IT teams to follow up the product behaviour and proactively propose new solutions and improvements
  • Manage the product backlog delivery - aligning iterative prioritization with the business
  • Engage/review service operations for the overall product health and monitor the performance of the product through defined KPIs
Who you areExpectations:
We are looking for a self-driven individual who can support daily Finance IT PM duties, consult the business, ready to innovate and who can challenge solutions provided by internal and external Development Teams to ensure Vodafone standards are achieved. The candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of SAP S4 Finance solutions, strong knowledge on how finance processes are implemented with SAP S4 as well as cloud solutions and new technologies like Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc.The role will need to blend functional expertise and strong stakeholder management to integrate an effective outcome that meets the needs of our business. It will look to deliver in an agile manner - driving a product backlog with business alignment so that we ensure delivery across matrix teams and challenge vendors to address our priorities.Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
  • Experience in a multinational company with excellent communication skills; ability to communicate both verbal and in writing at all levels - i.e. Senior Management, Business Stakeholders, Global Process Owner/Lead, CoP and external/internal System Integrator
  • Active listener; ability to translate business requirements into solutions, identify gaps between those requirements and the existing Core Business Model for finance and potential new solutions plus the ability to prioritise and to achieve challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly understand and adopt Vodafone\'s ways of working and to follow/adhere to internal processes and procedures.
  • The candidate should have experience in applying and following SAP delivery methodology and Agile delivery experience and/or Agile training
A proven track record within one of the following:
  • Agile: preferably scaled agile framework
  • Process Optimization: continuous improvement
  • Innovation: driving organizational capabilities
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge and 15-20 years experience in SAP S4 Hana FICO modules, specially (but not limited to) RMCA/FICA, Real Estate, Asset Accounting, General Ledger and Controlling.
  • Good understanding of other SAP S4 FI modules: RMCA/FICA, GL, AR, AP, RE-FX. Controlling (Cost Centres, Profit Centres, Profitability Analysis), plus integrations with SCM & HR. Cloud solutions as Concur, Ariba, etc
  • SAP Certified. Real expert in SAP Finance.
  • Experience (over 5 years) in large-scale and complex Business Transformation Programmes across multiple countries.
  • Strong knowledge of HP Quality Centre, SAP Solution Manager, Microsoft Office Applications and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Good accounting knowledge and ability to interact/speak the language of senior Finance leaders.
Interacting with:
  • The role will work mostly with Business Stakeholders, CoP Leads, Business Product Owners, Shared Services Centres, and external/internal System Integrators and other IT teams.
