Role Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts (Footwear Business) Job Purpose To manage finance, accounting, costing & commercial, risk, taxation, audit & compliances for the business. Vertical Footwear Business Department Finance & Accounts Level L1 Key Responsibilities : Support the development of short / medium / long term business plans Help create and drive annual business plans & budgets though generation and analysis of requisite MIS. Prepare, consolidate and review monthly MIS. Develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects at the appropriate time; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion Critically evaluate the performance of various business units through an analysis of profitability, top-line growth, cost control, etc. Manage risk through effective risk mitigation plans. Identify and track risk inclusive of credit risk, currency risk and country risk. Identify idle capital and develop actions plans for unlocking value. Follow up and review progress on areas like liquidation of inventory, overdue debtors / advances, working capital management, etc. Arranging short term/long term funding as required Managing accounts finalization and audits Maintain an optimum talent level in the team through engagement and retention. Treasury experience is the added advantage. Ensuring statutory compliances, oversee accounts / audit finalization/Anchoring Internal audit process/IFC process, support in structuring deals. a) Finalization of annual budget/SPP in consultation with the BU head. b) Ensure BU to be within the budgeted WC norms c) GST compliance d) Maintain CEI Score e) Implementation of authority matrix and approved SOP across the business Educational Qualifications : Chartered Accountant Desired Profile 10-12 years of post qualification experience in similar industry Must have Competencies/Skills Attributes required: Functional skills (accounting, finance, risk, taxation) Business orientation and understanding System\'s thinking Conversant with IT tools Detail orientation & strong analytical skills Interpersonal and people development skills Reports To Functional reporting : CFO Industry Preference Preferably from a manufacturing set up Location : Ranipet
