Finance Head | Trading House | KolkataJob Summary:One of the leading trading houses is seeking a Finance Head company to work from their Kolkata office. The ideal candidate should be a semi-qualified CA with 10 to 15 years of rich experience to head the finance function and lead the entire finance team.About the company:It is one of the leading trading houses of Kolkata dealing in packaging paper and other paper-related products. The company has a rich legacy of 40 + years in the industry and is a reputed, well-known brand and market leader in all states of Eastern India. It also has a good presence in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Gujarat along with some exports to Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan.Location: Dalhousie Area, KolkataJob Responsibilities:

• Head the finance function and lead the entire finance team
• Chief Advisor to the management team on various strategic initiatives for achieving business objectives and profitability of the enterprise
• Responsible for overall controllership, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables and maintaining proper records of all vendor/ customer invoices/ other related documents
• Preparation of daily tracker for receivables and payables and follow up with customers for collections and ensuring payments to vendors are made on a timely basis
• Preparation of bank reconciliation statements and processing of bank payments
• Liaison with banks and financial institutions and lead treasury-related activities for monthly reporting
• Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements
• Responsible for entire taxation and statutory-related work such as TDS, GST and other compliances
• Responsible for income tax return filings
• Review and Preparation of monthly provisions and month-end entries for book-closing activities
• Responsible for the preparation of MIS reports \xe2\x80\x93 monthly, quarterly and annual
• Responsible for preparation and finalization of financial statements - profit or loss and balance sheet \xe2\x80\x93 provisional and audited financial statements
• Responsible for statutory audits, internal and stock audits, etc.

Good to have:

• Candidate should be a proficient accountant and have proven knowledge of book-keeping, finalization of accounts and related activities, MIS preparations, audit closures, treasury- related activities
• B.Com and CA Inter with 10-15 years of experience
• Hands-on experience of working in Tally ERP
• Hands-on experience in MS Excel and Advanced MS Excel skills such as VLookup, Pivot, SumProduct, etc.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Available to join immediately or within 1 month

Work Pattern: (Work from Office) 6 days a weekSalary: To be decided post interview.
