Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare and present timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights into key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Work closely with department heads to develop and manage budgets across departments.
• Assist in the preparation and revision of the company's financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and highlight discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures.
• Cash Flow Management:
• Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to manage working capital and optimize cash usage.
• Financial Compliance & Audit:
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting standards.
• Assist in the preparation for external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth completion of audits.
• Cost Control & Optimization:
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with departments to implement cost control measures.
• Regularly review and analyze cost structures and operational expenses to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Taxation & Regulatory Reporting:
• Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and advise management on potential impacts.
• Strategic Financial Planning:
• Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategic decision-making by providing financial analysis and recommendations.
• Work with the senior finance team to evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Financial Systems & Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement improvements in financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Support the implementation of new financial software or upgrades to existing systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with other departments, including sales, marketing, operations, and HR, to ensure financial goals are aligned with business objectives.
• Provide financial advice and support to non-finance teams to help them understand financial implications.
