That?s why we work tirelessly to make your experience of planning & booking flights, hotels, and trips as seamless as possible Job Overview: We are an online travel company seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented OTA finance executive with a strong focus on process improvements and financial analysis to join our finance team. In this role, you will be assisting the OTA finance team function for the Wego group of companies. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily and weekly reconciliations for flights and hotel suppliers.
  • Liaise with the Contracting team to review contracts and validate financial documentation.
  • Managing supplier payments and statements.
  • Handling the Virtual Credit Card Payment and reconciliations.
  • Following up with stakeholders on reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Providing regular reports in relation to account reconciliation status and discrepancies as well as system malfunction or/ and abnormal events.
  • Liaise with the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team to regularly enhance and optimize various automation processes.
  • Managing ad hoc controlling duties or project assignments regarding data reconciliation or business performance.
  • Provide the regular report to stake holders and management.
  • Booking the supplier invoices, receipt and payments into the accounting system in a timely basis.
  • Oversee the monthly (quarterly, annual) closing processes of the ledger, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions, as well as reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
  • Support internal & external audits and inquiries.
  • Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support.
  • Other ad-hoc duties.
Qualifications
  • 4 years of working experience in a travel Industry position in accounting / finance environment
  • Must have knowledge about Online travel Agency transactions
  • Degree in Finance/ Accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
  • Can do approach, self-motivated, take ownership and issue management techniques.
