About the job and responsibilities

We are looking for a finance professional to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day accounts activities. His responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our finance team.

Key Objectives :
-----------------------

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:- month end and Year-end process, accounts payable (invoice posting/ payments), processing T&E claims through Concur, general ledger, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity and bank coordination
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Provide recommendations
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Assign projects and ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
• HFM reporting
• ERP knowledge - SAP (S4 HANA)
• Ensuring compliance to applicable Indian accounting framework and direct/ indirect tax laws (including GST)

You would also ideally have

Work Experience: 3-8 years in finance

Education: B.Com/ M.Com or specialized in finance and accounting.

Licensing/Certification: Chartered Accountant-is an advantage

Functional Knowledge: Knowledge of finance and accounting

Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of integrated financial software.
