Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management

Lead the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial integrity. Ensure compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships. Coordinate external and internal audits.

Purchasing & Procurement Oversight

Review, approve, and monitor purchase requisitions to ensure budget alignment. Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate vendors, negotiate terms, and monitor supplier performance. Implement procurement policies and ensure adherence to internal approval workflows. Conduct cost analysis and help identify savings opportunities. Review and approve purchase orders for financial compliance before final execution.

Cost Control & Strategic Support

Analyze procurement and operational costs, recommending optimizations. Support management in financial planning, pricing strategies, and supplier contract decisions. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between finance, procurement, and operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. Professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage. 2+ years of experience in financial leadership, preferably with exposure to procurement. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles. Experience in vendor management, purchase process workflows, and cost analysis. Proficiency in accounting and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks). Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities.
