We are looking for a professional Finance Controller to oversee and supervise all financial aspects of our organization.
The Finance Controller will be in charge of overseeing financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, transformation, and compliance.
The selected candidate will work closely with the finance team, department leaders, and senior management to drive sound financial decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop, update, and manage financial models and forecasts.
Provide insights and recommendations by analysing financial data, trends, and performance.
Prepare financial reports for management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve financial management and decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead and direct the annual budgeting process in partnership with department heads.
Monitor and evaluate budget performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Provide guidance and assistance with budget variance analysis.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations/legislations, and other financial obligations.
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure their accuracy and transparency.
Coordination and supervision of external audits.
Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other relevant regulations and legislation, including financial statement preparation and other reports required for external auditing and regulatory compliance.
Exposure to European accounting would be an added advantage.
Taxation:
Manage and optimize tax planning and compliance, including income tax, GST, and other relevant taxes.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to minimize financial risk.
Risk Management:
Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Evaluate and enhance internal control systems.
Transformation:
The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of relevant work experience. This experience should be substantial and focused on supporting transformation efforts and process re-engineering programs.
The role involves overseeing multiple high-visibility global process transformation efforts. This includes establishing a strong governance structure and closely tracking program execution in partnership with Key Stakeholders.
Structure and conduct re-engineering workshops with senior stakeholders across Finance to agree on interim and end state process structure to achieve Agile Planning transformation program objectives and related regulatory remediation efforts.
The role requires expertise in process improvement and re-engineering frameworks, such as Lean etc. to identify areas for tangible and measurable process improvements while ensuring that the quality of outcomes is not compromised.
Work closely with other Agile Planning workstreams, including Data, Infrastructure/Tech, Models, Reporting & Analytics, UI/Workflow, and others to align efforts and program milestones to achieve the overall process transformation objectives.

Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering their professional growth.
Promote a culture of collaboration and efficiency within the finance department.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2+ years of post-qualification experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation (US and Indian compliance/laws).
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience with Digitalization, Financial accounting software (Base Tally or equivalent), and additionally softwares such as Sage and Peachtree.
