Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).
Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and coordination with auditors (Statutory, Internal, Tax).
Oversee compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations (GST, Income Tax, TDS, etc.).
Ensure adherence to all statutory filings and timely returns submission.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process, including revenue, cost, and cash flow projections.
Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis to management.
Provide support in strategic planning and business decision-making with financial insights.
3. Treasury & Fund Management
Manage cash flows, working capital requirements, and fund flow planning.
Liaise with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities, LC/BG, and other funding arrangements.
Optimize fund utilization and ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
4. Internal Controls & Process Improvements
Design and implement robust internal control systems to prevent financial irregularities.
Continuously assess and improve financial processes, systems, and ERP utilization.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and corporate governance standards.
5. Taxation & Audits
Handle assessments, scrutiny, and liaison with tax authorities.
Supervise tax planning strategies to optimize tax liability within legal framework.
Ensure timely completion of statutory, internal, and cost audits.
6. Team Leadership
Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team for high performance.
Build strong coordination between inter-departmental functions and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
Additional qualification like CS/MBA (Finance) would be an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a manufacturing or mid-to-large scale organization.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally ERP, etc.) and advanced Excel.
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities.
