We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role Finance Cloud Control Enhancements \xe2\x80\x93 Visualisation Lead and Developer. Key Responsibilities
- To work closely with various teams to design, build, support testing, deploy and maintain insightful visualisations in line with Finance Cloud Control Enhancement scope, priorities and deliverables.
- This will include, but is not limited to:
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand the data and its intended audience.
- Identify the most appropriate visualisation techniques and tools for each type of data and user need.
- Design, develop and document visually appealing and informative solutions for visual representations of data.
- Consider factors like accessibility, colour theory and user experience in designs.
- Develop and implement visualisations using appropriate tools, coding/programming languages, and libraries (e.g. QlikSense, Looker and Tableau).
- Integrate visualisations seamlessly into the project\xe2\x80\x99s platform or application.
- Ensure the technical performance and responsiveness of visualisation solutions.
- Refine and iterate design and build based on feedback to ensure optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, developers and stakeholders throughout requirements, design, build, test and deployment phases.
- Design and develop a standardised suite of clear, informative and visually appealing visualisation solutions in line with business needs and strategy.
- Document Design decisions and technical specifications clearly.
- Work collaboratively and effectively across DCC project team and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
- Delivery of owned milestones within plan.
- Robust documentation of design and technical specifications for solutions delivered.
- Identification and resolution of dependencies, risks, issues with regards to deliverables.
- Quick and effective resolution of issues and conflicting priorities to ensure that relevant stakeholders are engaged in decision making.
- Technical performance of solutions is in line with standards.
- Effectively engage a diverse group of internal customers and stakeholders while managing and delivering owned change outcomes.
- Provide robust demonstrations and training to stakeholders \xe2\x80\x93 to support acceptance into BAU.
- Build strong relationships with Data and Reporting teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience as a Visualisation Developer or similar role (on Cloud platforms is a plus).
- Strong understanding of data visualisation principles and best practices (Cloud and On Premise).
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages, libraries and visualisation tools (e.g. QlikSense, Looker and Tableau).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles is a plus.
- An understanding of Finance reporting data, systems and processes, and control environment is preferred.
- Ability to deliver required business outcomes in an Agile methodology through engagement with product owners and technology developers during iterative development phases.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships at a range of levels of seniority.
- Commitment to delivery, with an ability to prioritise own work to drive activities to conclusion.
- Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment where plans continually evolve as priorities change.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven experience of communicating effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group in a complex global environment.
- Able to operate effectively under pressure and navigate ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills.
- Qualifications: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Skills preferred for this position: GCP, SQL, Python, QlikSense, Looker, Tableau
