Grade - 14What you will do?Position Overview and Job Responsibilities

• You will be working as part of the Global statutory oversight & command center, composed of an international team of qualified accountants, focusing on regional & global statutory matters and compliance oversight across FedEx Express entities internationally,
• Providing support to local teams with specific complex accounting, central or local audit matters
• IFRS assessments of complex accounting transactions and preparation of technical accounting position papers,
• Supporting conclusions for Local GAAP aspects
• Leading global statutory accounting & reporting process enhancement projects for further professionalisation and streamlining of processes and procedures
• Providing training to international teams, stakeholder management, cross-functional project support and other initiatives across the organisation.

Skills required:

• Qualified CA (Chartered / Qualified accountant)
• Minimum 3-5 years of post qualification experience in a Big 4 audit environment (preferred), with an international client base
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP, capable of writing accounting memos / presenting and concluding with auditors
• Fluent in English (second foreign language is a plus)
• Energetic and enthusiastic, eager to learn
• Confident, able to run projects in an international work environment
• FCF/Oracle/SAP knowledge is a plus
