What this job involves:Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of withholding tax, TDS return & TDS certificates.
• Downloading, Analyzing & Reconciling of 26AS with books of account.
• Analyzing bank receipts and subsequent cash applications against each receipt as per standard Operating procedure
• Ensure service delivery as agreed norms and SLAs
• Analyze and research the history of client ledgers against the over/short payments.
• Performing quality checks to ensure all the deposits are correctly applied against each client accounts
• Query handling - working upon all queries received and keeping a close tab on any pending queries that could be resolved and following up on the rest
• Contact business stakeholders whenever is necessary to determine the proper payment application
• Research and analyze the duplicate and erroneous payments
• Participate in special departments/projects/initiatives as directed
• Archiving, records retention and audit support
• Escalate unresolved issues/concerns
• Assist in training of new employees as needed
• Working on different process-related and ad-hoc reports
• Support cross-functional processes as and when required
• Keeping all the process-related documents intact on real-time basis
• Handle mailbox for request and query management
• Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Team player and yet able to work independently
• Perform other duties assigned as and when required i.e. process improvement initiatives, system implementation and ad-hoc projects

• Ability Degree in Accounting or relevant professional accountancy qualification.
• Shift timings: 9.00 am IST - 06:00 pm IST.
• Preferably, 0-3 years of working experience in AR & withholding tax in MNC.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Team player and yet able to work independently.
