Year after year, numerous international awards testify to the exceptional quality of RATIONAL\'s work.The local F&A Director, based in New Delhi, Gurgaon, leads the company together with the sales-oriented Managing Director. He/She is an essential function owner, making the company able to operate independent at the market in terms of our UiU-thought. He/She makes sure that the company grows profitable. Therefor he/she analyses and checks the customer contracts on appropriate profitability on the one hand, on the other hand he cares for compliance of laws and company guidelines and defines the local required guidelines and proofs their compliance. The F&A Director is an entrepreneurially thinking, commercial all-rounder with hands-on mentality.Tasks:

  • Preparation of month-end and year-end closing
  • Preparation of a recipient-oriented reporting system for the local management team as well as the headquarter to create transparency in relation of the business development (especially revenue and cost developments)
  • Management of the local planning process to define of appropriate goals for the next financial year in close cooperation with the Managing Director
  • Alignment of the local organization on defined goals, initiation, and implementation of corrective actions at outstanding deviations from the plan during the year
  • Continuous further development of the company processes regards to efficiency and cost aspects. Sharpening the cost awareness in the company
  • Local point of contact for all commercial central processes inclusive Human Resources and close cooperation in designing local processes with the commercial central processes including Human Resources
  • Contact person for financial auditors, local authorities and external consultants to ensure the compliance of all local laws and rules
  • Preparation and delivery of all local declarations, especially tax and customs declarations
  • Integral financial claims management, including securing appropriate payment terms with costumers, monitoring the receipt of the payment in time as well as implementation of an effective dunning process at default of payment
  • Monitoring and settlement of bonus agreement with dealers
  • Coordination of IT relevant issues
  • Responsibility for the appropriate processing of orders (internal sales) as well as responsibility for a local stock including execution of inventory, inventory valuation, storage management, etc.
Practical Experiences/skills; The Person has...
  • Extensive professional experience in a comparable position in a sales/multi-national company with comparable size
  • Extensive management experience (Finance & Controlling, order processing, logistics)
  • Good abilities in SAP R/3 module SD, CO, FI, MM as well as SAP BW
  • Good abilities IT abilities (MSOffice, especially Excel)
  • Experience in auditing or additional qualifications in accounting or local taxes helpful
  • Multi-cultural experience e.g., working with Germany and Singapore counterparts
  • Experience in food service-related companies or industry is a plus
  • HR knowledge
  • Affinity towards IT questioning helpful
