Responsibilities:
- Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
- Update all accounting entries, journals, ledgers in Tally
- Manage timely tax payments
- Manage timely statutory payments (PF, ESIC, TDS, etc.)
- Organize internal audits
- Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Vendor Account Reconciliation
- Vendor Account Clearing
- Coordinate with clients for invoice generation and clearance
- Coordinate with HR team for releasing monthly payroll and other employee-related dues
- Support reporting lead in documentation and any other assistance required for generating capital investments from investors
- Manage all financial documentation and MIS related to investors and other stakeholders
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Tally and accounting software
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
- Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
- Confidentiality
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
