• Key Responsibilities :
• Perform detailed final inspections on cars after service or repair work is completed to ensure the vehicle meets the service standards.
Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training or certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a vehicle inspector, mechanic, or in a similar automotive service role, preferably with exposure to multiple car brands.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repair procedures, and quality control processes.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot even the smallest issues with vehicles.
• Good understanding of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
Physical Requirements :
• Ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., car parts, tools) and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Working Conditions :
• Typically works in a garage or workshop environment.
• May require working with hazardous materials (e.g., oils, fuels, chemicals), following safety protocols.
• Full-time position with possible weekend shifts, depending on business needs.
• Inspect both mechanical and cosmetic aspects of the vehicle, including but not limited to engine performance, transmission, electrical systems, bodywork, interior, and exterior condition.
• Ensure that all diagnostic checks are completed and no issues are overlooked.
• Verify that all parts used during repairs or service are appropriate and of high quality, following manufacturer specifications for each brand.
• Check that all necessary documentation (service records, customer invoices, etc.) is accurately completed and up to date.
• Conduct road tests, as needed, to verify vehicle performance after repairs or maintenance work.
• Identify any safety concerns or potential issues that could affect the vehicle's operation or safety before delivery.
• Collaborate with technicians and mechanics to address any issues found during the inspection process.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the inspection area.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining work completed and any additional recommendations.
• Stay up to date with industry standards and practices for multi-brand car services.
