About APRE Art House

APRE Art House was founded in 2016 and is located in Colaba. The Gallery runs an Artist Residency Programme in a 10,000 sq. ft. Facility in Saki Naka. APRE contributes to the diverse and multi-layered space of contemporary art and creates an innovative platform for its understanding and outreach both nationally and globally.

The Gallery has executed innumerable multidisciplinary exhibitions, art fairs, events and arts programs over the last few years. APRE aims to promote plural art culture through regular physical and virtual showcases while also continuing to develop public programming.

Prerna SM Jain has earned her master\'s degree in \'Modern & Contemporary Art Market and Its History\' from Christie\'s Education, New York. She has worked at several art galleries and institutions internationally. She has trained at multiple institutions in France and New York.

About the internship

Love going to art galleries and working with artists? APRE Art House has opened a position for the post of film intern and is looking for enthusiastic leaders such as yourself! We are based in Colaba and got a thunderously overwhelming response from the industry and beyond for our recent shows. We also have a 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Saki Naka for artist residency programs. We have also displayed in New York, India Art Fair, and at Bikaner House in New Delhi and have a calendar full of events like theatre, dance, panel discussions, workshops, and performances. The intern will get the opportunity to assist the director with artist interviews, content shoots, and post-production.

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with research
2. Handling film shoots
3. Assisting the director
4. Editing videos and content after artist shoots
5. Assisting the team with content promotion

Skills & Requirements:

1. Good communication skills
2. Detail and process-oriented
3. Good interpersonal skills
4. Enthusiastic and willing to learn and educate

Note:

1. The location is APRE Art House, Plot no. 28, Sanghvi House, 3rd Pasta Lane, Colaba Market, Mumbai 400005
2. Timings are Tuesday - Sunday, 10 am- 7 pm
