Introduction:

To develop, enhance and support Repo Market Data, Trade Execution, Trade Capture and other Front Office applications

What will you be doing?

• Take ownership of the deliverables of each iteration, ensuring the scope of the project/deliverables is well understood.
• Effectively visualize and design complex systems; good command over the relevant design patterns and concepts covering failover and resiliency.
• Development and support of trade capture platform for Repo Trading Platform
• Perform code reviews to ensure implemented functionality matches expectations and is in line with coding standards defined globally.
• Co-ordination with the QA team and the larger IT group in delivery of implemented features to production.
• Interaction with front office users and operations for requirements/support.
• Assistance in the investigation and troubleshooting of production issues. Play an active role in mentoring/coaching/training and development of team members.
• Improve processes and software in a continuous feedback cycle.

What weaAEURA(TM)re looking for:

• Must have strong skills in Object Oriented Analysis and Design Concepts, Java, Relational Databases

aAEURA Must Have Tech skills: Core Java, Multi-Threading,a, Spring Boot, Unix, Solace, Database
aAEURA Additional Preferred Exposure : Python, AWS, Kafka
aAEURA Significant experience developing high-performance software. Ability to coordinate activities of less experienced or less knowledgeable team members.
aAEURA Ability to understand & implement high-level technical design of design components. Analytical ability including root cause identification and pro-active design improvement
aAEURA Support production deployments on need basis

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Skill in Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery and System integration.
• Additional Preferred Exposure: AWS understanding on (EC2, ELB, S3 etc.,)
• Good to have knowledge on Angular HTML5
• Nice to Have: Experience in Python, Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana
• Background in financial markets
