Brief Description about the Project:
The project will be using accurate measurements of anthropometry, body composition and energy expenditure in infants and children to understand exposures and intermediary mechanisms that may contribute to the Double Burden of Malnutrition (DBM).
Field Worker (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife)
Position Starting: 15th November,2024

Preferred Qualifications: Auxiliary nurse midwife/ BSc (Graduation in Lifesciences/Biochemistry/Nutrition)
Experience: Minimum Experience - 2 years
Experience in working with children and infants, working in research projects, trained in proper data collection and documentation procedures.
Preferred Language: English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi
Location: Bangalore
Salary: Rs.27355/-(Inclusive HRA)

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Help in recruitment of participants from St. John's and other recruitment sites.
• Take measurements of BP and other vitals.
• Skill in drawing blood samples from infants.
• Scheduling follow-up visits.
• Making telephone calls to fix appointments and follow up.
• Picking and dropping participants from their house.
• Maintaining logs with schedules for appointments, follow-ups, and sample collection.
• Collecting basic socio-demographic details.
• Maintaining a log for samples to be collected.
• Conducting home visits for sample collection.
• Assisting the technician in sample collection, processing and storing.
• Labelling samples.
• Data entry.
