Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, install, and repair HVAC systems including AC units, thermostats, compressors, and ductwork. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults for HVAC systems. Perform routine maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts. Test HVAC systems and components for proper functioning. Explain issues and work performed to customers in a clear and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of services and repairs. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines. Keep tools and equipment organized and in good working condition. Stay up to date with the latest HVAC technology and safety standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED; HVAC certification or diploma from a technical school preferred. EPA certification (Type I, II, or Universal) required. Proven experience as an HVAC technician or AC service technician. Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (e.g., rooftops, crawlspaces). Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
