Ability to manage complex Customer problems.\xc2\xb7 Must have strong knowledge of HP Proliant\\Blade, Oracle and Dell PowerEdge servers.\xc2\xb7 Sound knowledge of ESD working practice\xc2\xb7 Sound knowledge of general Health & Safety\xc2\xb7 DESIRABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS for a Server Hardware Engineer\xc2\xb7 Co-ordinate with OEM for getting the server hardware spare\xc2\xb7 Co-ordinate with remote location team for server/storage installation\xc2\xb7 Server/storage installation activities\xc2\xb7 Governance for the rack & stack, power & Cable connectivity\xc2\xb7 Hardware Uptime Report - SIGMA Trend\xc2\xb7 Overview of hardware and tech room activity\xc2\xb7 Review for Hardware Failures Trend Analysis\xc2\xb7 Review complete device inventory with cost details for Insurance coverage.\xc2\xb7 Participate in Audit calls (ISO, IA, NSE, BSE etc.)\xc2\xb7 Power Load & Consumption Details\xc2\xb7 Vendor coordination for Network and Fiber Cabling for Tech rooms\xc2\xb7 Device movement, redeployment of the assets and disposal of EOL assets\xc2\xb7 Understanding for LTO media, tape library, media backup and restore.\xc2\xb7 Inventory management.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of data center environment like power, cooling, humidity\xc2\xb7 Preparation of Rack elevation for new device installation.\xc2\xb7 To ensure all calls are resolved within the agreed SLA, ensuring calls are escalated when required and customers are updated, until the call is resolved and closed.Requirements:

• Bachelors degree from an authorized university.
• Relevant server certification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2-3yrs of exp for L1 position and 3-5yrs of exp for L2 position.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic understanding of ITIL Framework is a must (SLA, CHG, Problem, and incident mgmt.)
• Strong interpersonal skills and high awareness of customer needs.
• Knowledge on ticketing tool preferrable ServiceNow.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts 24*7 environment.
• Travel including overnight domestic may be required.
