SalesGenerating leads, educating prospects, and closing sales. This can include door-to-door, cold calling, and presentations.
Customer relationsBuilding and maintaining relationships with clients, retailers, and distributors. This includes keeping in contact with existing customers and making appointments with new customers.
Sales strategyDeveloping and implementing sales strategies, and monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
Sales reportingPreparing sales reports and forecasts, and providing feedback to management.
Product knowledgeBeing knowledgeable about products and advising customers on delivery schedules and after-sales service.
Sales targetsMeeting and exceeding sales targets, both individually and as a team.
FMCG products are sold quickly and relatively cheaply, and include packaged foods, beverages, toiletries, cosmetics, cleaning supplies, and other low-cost household items.
