Job Summary:
The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for selling products or services by visiting customers in their designated territory. This role involves building relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to provide appropriate solutions.
3. Sales Activities:
- Conduct regular field visits to prospective and existing customers.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to prospective customers.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/services.
4. Market Research and Feedback:
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
5. Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate terms and close sales agreements.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
6. Reporting:
- Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
