Job Title: Field Sales Executive

A field sales executive, also known as a field sales representative, is responsible for selling products or services outside of an office. Their duties include:
• Meeting sales targets : Achieving personal and team sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis
• Generating new business : Attracting new customers and identifying potential clients
• Maintaining customer relationships : Ensuring existing clients are fully serviced and building lasting relationships with them
• Preparing sales proposals : Identifying and preparing sales proposals that meet the customer's needs and sales targets
• Preparing sales reports : Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly sales reports comparing targets set against targets achieved
• Monitoring competitors : Monitoring competitors, new products, and rates
• Assisting with marketing : Assisting with corporate marketing strategies and expanding the company to new markets
• Coordinating with other departments : Coordinating sales efforts with other departments
• Providing reports to management : Supplying the management team with reports on customer needs or interests, potential new products or services, and competitive activities
Field sales executives typically work for B2B and wholesale organizations. They need to have strong interpersonal skills, such as empathy, negotiation, persuasion, problem solving, patience, and flexibility.
