Position Title: On-Field Sales Officer

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented On-Field Sales Officer to drive My Tree's mission of increasing green cover through direct engagement with individuals, corporates, and communities. The role involves collecting leads from the tele sales team, generating new leads independently, and actively participating in campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for sustainability, and the ability to convert prospects into participants or sponsors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management

o Collaborate with tele sales executives to follow up on qualified leads and convert them into tree adoptions or sponsorships.

o Independently identify and approach potential leads, including individuals, housing societies, schools, and corporates.

Sales execution

o Present the My Tree concept effectively during face-to-face meetings, events, and community engagements.

o Promote participation in 'Adopt a Plant' and 'Feed the Plant' programs by highlighting their environmental and social benefits.

o Close sales deals, document agreements, and maintain detailed customer records.

Campaign participation

o Actively participate in awareness campaigns, tree plantation drives, and promotional events.

o Represent My Tree at community and corporate events, fostering goodwill and generating leads.

Corporate engagement

o Visit corporate offices to pitch My Tree's CSR initiatives, showcasing their alignment with sustainability goals.

o Provide follow-up and support to corporate clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for sponsorships.

Customer support

o Act as the primary point of contact for participants in the assigned area, addressing their questions and concerns.

o Foster strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat participation and referrals.

Reporting & Feedback

o Provide daily activity reports, including lead status, sales progress, and field insights, to the sales manager.

o Share feedback from customers and prospects to help improve campaigns and offerings.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Education:

o Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Experience:

o 1-3 years of experience in field sales, business development, or community engagement.

o Prior experience in environmental projects or NGOs is an advantage.

Skills:

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to build trust and rapport quickly with diverse audiences.

o Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.

o Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

o Knowledge of local languages (Telugu and Hindi preferred).

Technical Skills:

o Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

o Ability to use GPS-based apps for field planning and reporting.
