A field sales executive's job description includes:

• Selling products : Promoting and selling company products at assigned locations
• Building relationships : Building strong customer relationships and maintaining them over time
• Developing sales pitches : Creating engaging sales pitches for different target customers
• Collecting customer information : Collecting customer contact information and following up with leads
• Maintaining records : Maintaining accurate records of sales leads and customer accounts
• Traveling : Traveling to different locations to meet with clients and arrange meetings
• Negotiating : Negotiating payment and pricing with the customer on behalf of the company
• Creating reports : Creating sales, needs analysis, and cost-benefit reports
• Monitoring competitors : Monitoring competitor sales strategies
• Completing training : Completing mandatory product and compliance training

Field sales executives are usually territory focused and are given monthly sales and visit targets. They usually report to a Regional Sales Manager
