As a Wine Company Retail Sales in charge, you will play a crucial role in representing our brand and promoting our diverse range of wines to consumers, retailers, and distributors. You will be responsible for creating memorable experiences that showcase the unique characteristics and qualities of our wines, ultimately driving sales and brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
• Product Promotion: Conduct tastings and promotional events at various locations such as wine shops, restaurants, and festivals to introduce consumers to our wines and encourage purchases.
• Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as a knowledgeable and passionate ambassador for our brand, educating customers about our winemaking processes, vineyard practices, and the distinct qualities of each wine.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, restaurateurs, and distributors to secure placements and increase the visibility of our wines in the market.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to develop strategies for expanding our customer base and achieving sales targets.
• Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new opportunities and inform marketing and product development efforts.
• Training and Education: Provide training sessions and educational materials to retail staff and sales partners to enhance their understanding of our wines and improve sales effectiveness.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in wine sales, marketing, or hospitality preferred.
• Strong passion for wine and a desire to share that enthusiasm with others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and production techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
