Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition:
- Identify and prospect potential clients within the designated territory through market research, cold calling, and networking.
- Schedule meetings with architects, interior designers, contractors, and other key decision-makers to present product offerings and generate leads.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of decorative laminates.
2. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, orders, and concerns, and provide timely resolutions to issues as they arise.
- Regularly follow up with clients to understand their evolving needs and preferences and offer tailored solutions accordingly.
3. Sales Target Achievement:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients, negotiating terms and closing deals effectively.
- Track sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics using CRM software or other designated tools.
4. Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics related to decorative laminates.
- Gather feedback from customers regarding product quality, pricing, and service levels, and communicate insights to the management team for continuous improvement.
5. Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, production, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer-specific requirements.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events to enhance product knowledge and professional development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry or building materials sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Knowledge of the Hyderabad market and network within the architecture, construction, and interior design industries is a plus.
