• Sales activitiesGenerate new business, educate customers, and follow up with customers. They also work to meet sales targets, both individually and as part of a team.
• Administrative tasksPrepare sales proposals, sales reports, and statistical reports. They also update the CRM system and work with other departments.
• Customer serviceMaintain customer accounts and records, and visit customers regularly to evaluate their needs. They also act as a representative for the organization during customer meetings.
• Competitor monitoringResearch and monitor competitors' products, marketing strategies, and other activities.
• Sales strategiesDevelop and evaluate sales strategies and methods.
Field sales executives are often territory focused and work for B2B and wholesale organizations. They may use a variety of sales methods, including door-to-door, cold calling, and presentations.
