Job Summary:
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets and growing market share by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and executing sales strategies within the assigned territory. This role involves significant travel and requires excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Target Achievement:
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve targets.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
• Market Analysis:
• Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Provide feedback and insights to the sales management team to improve sales strategies.
• Lead Generation:
• Identify and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities.
• Conduct cold calls, site visits, and presentations to potential clients.
• Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales goals.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and customer needs.
• Product Knowledge:
• Develop a deep understanding of the company's products or services.
• Keep up-to-date with product developments and industry trends.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotional activities.
• Collaborate with other sales team members to share best practices and support overall team success.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in field sales or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of sales principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
