We are looking for a proactive and driven Field Recruiter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for various roles by reaching out directly to potential candidates in the field, attending job fairs, and collaborating with community organizations. This role requires a strong ability to engage with potential employees, maintain good relationships with hiring managers, and adapt recruiting strategies based on market conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
• Sourcing & Recruiting :
• Actively identify and reach out to potential candidates through field visits, job fairs, and other local events.
• Develop a pipeline of candidates by building relationships in the community, with trade schools, colleges, and employment organizations.
• Post job openings on job boards and in local community centers, and manage social media outreach to attract candidates.
• Candidate Screening & Interviews :
• Conduct initial screening interviews and evaluate candidates based on their skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Schedule and conduct in-person interviews in various locations as needed to reach a broader audience.
• Assess candidates for their potential alignment with role-specific requirements and organizational values.
• Collaboration with Hiring Managers :
• Partner with hiring managers to understand specific talent needs, role requirements, and timelines.
• Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and candidate availability to hiring managers.
• Ensure a smooth hiring process by coordinating between candidates and hiring teams.
• Field Recruitment Activities :
• Organize and participate in local hiring events, career fairs, and community gatherings to increase brand presence and attract talent.
• Maintain an active presence in the assigned region by meeting potential candidates in person, answering queries, and building interest in roles.
• Engage with community leaders and networks to develop additional recruiting channels.
• Data Management & Reporting :
• Track recruitment activities, maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, and prepare regular recruitment reports.
• Monitor recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source of hire) to identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on local labor market trends and competitors' recruiting strategies.
• Compliance & Best Practices :
• Ensure all recruiting practices are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
• Follow and improve upon best practices for field recruiting, including diversity and inclusion efforts.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Proven ability to build relationships within the community and engage with potential candidates.
• Ability to work independently and travel as required within the assigned region.
• Proficient in using recruitment software, job boards, and social media platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements :
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
• Flexibility to attend evening or weekend recruiting events if necessary.
