Job Title: Field Marketing Survey Executive
Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly organized and analytical Field Marketing Survey Executive to conduct market research, gather data, and provide insights to inform marketing strategies and improve customer experiences in the tour and travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
i) Field Surveys:
1. Conduct face-to-face surveys, interviews, and focus groups with customers, travel agents, and suppliers.
2. Gather data on customer preferences, travel behavior, and opinions on tour packages, destinations, and services.
3. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
ii) Data Collection:
1. Use mobile devices, tablets, or paper-based surveys to collect data.
2. Ensure timely and accurate data submission.
3. Maintain data confidentiality and security.
iii) Data Analysis:
1. Analyze survey data.
2. Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.
3. Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations.
iv) Marketing Support:
1. Provide market intelligence to inform marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product) to develop targeted marketing initiatives.
3. Participate in brainstorming sessions and workshops.
v) Tour and Travel Industry Knowledge:
1. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
2. Conduct research on destinations, tour packages, and travel services.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in market research, surveying, or data collection in the tour and travel industry.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of market research principles, methods, and tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and statistical software.
Nice to Have:
- Certification in market research or tourism (e.g., CMRP, CTA).
- Experience with survey design, questionnaire development, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with tour and travel industry software and systems.
