We are looking for Rural Sales Executive for driving sales and distribution of pharmaceutical products in rural areas. You will play a crucial role in expanding the company's reach, building relationships with healthcare providers, and ensuring the availability of products to meet the healthcare needs of rural communities.Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for implementing sales strategies to achieve targets and objectives set for rural areas.
  • You will be responsible for planning and executing sales activities to promote pharmaceutical products, including organizing medical camps, conducting product demonstrations, and engaging with healthcare professionals.
  • You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to increase product visibility and availability.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing target areas within rural territories based on market potential and competition analysis.
  • You will be responsible for conducting market surveys and gathering insights to understand customer needs, preferences, and buying behavior.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to penetrate new markets and increase market share in existing areas.
  • You will be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including doctors, pharmacists, distributors, and community leaders, to drive product adoption and loyalty.
  • You will be responsible for providing timely and effective customer support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels at retail outlets and distributors, ensuring adequate product availability to meet demand.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, minimize stock-outs, and prevent overstock situations.
  • You will be responsible for preparing and submitting regular sales reports, including sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • You will be responsible for analysing sales data to identify opportunities for growth, track performance against targets, and develop actionable insights for decision-making.
  • You will be responsible for conducting training sessions for retailers and distributors on product knowledge, sales techniques, and promotional strategies.
  • You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to sales representatives in rural areas, coaching them to achieve sales targets and enhance their effectiveness.
QualificationsEducational qualification - Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.Minimum work experience- 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, particularly in rural areas, is preferred.Skills & attributes -
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of the rural healthcare landscape, including familiarity with healthcare providers and distribution channels, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and sales management software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within rural territories.
Behavioural Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
