Job Summary: The Field Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling the company\'s cattle feed products to customers within an assigned geographic area or territory. This role involves building strong relationships with farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by management. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular visits and communication. Understand customer needs, preferences, and challenges to provide tailored product solutions. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. Product Promotion and Education: Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers to showcase the features and benefits of cattle feed products. Educate customers on nutritional value, feeding practices, and best management practices related to cattle nutrition. Market Analysis and Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats. Provide feedback to management on market conditions, customer preferences, and product performance. Order Management and Reporting: Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including customer interactions, orders, and sales pipeline. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and production, to coordinate sales efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience. Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and sales support tools. Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards governing the sale and promotion of cattle feed products. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor\'s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the agricultural or animal nutrition industry. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Knowledge of cattle nutrition, feed ingredients, and farming practices is desirable.
