• Debt collection Locate and contact debtors, perform collection calls, and negotiate settlements
• Debt recovery plans Create plans and strategies for collecting debts, and advise on repayment plans
• Legal processes Follow all legal processes, which may include taking legal action against the borrower
• Record keeping Maintain electronic records and hard copies of all payment plans, amounts paid, and communications
• Credit bureaus Deliver statements of delinquencies and satisfied debts to credit bureaus
• Communication Communicate with debtors and other professionals in the company
• Problem-solving Use problem-solving skills to identify the best payment plan for a customer
• Conflict resolution Find peaceful solutions to potential issues between the client and the business
