Job Description

• Support the Sales organization on existing products and on new products through application studies, demonstration, training, troubleshooting, Scale up, customer presentations for Biopharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical industry in close collaboration with sales and product management
• Support Sales in the customer process and URS analysis, and generate application trials to help designing optimized products in line with the application requirements
• Assist customers for first product installation and initial start-up, and ensure the training of the customer
• Support Quality Department in the quality complaint process by troubleshooting and analyzing customers processes for better investigation and resolution
• Report on competitors \'products and feedback information to the Application Specialist Team Management and products management

The Application Specialist will be responsible for offering product expertise, application knowledge and technical support along each step of customer\'s process and for bringing the products\' technical expertise and market knowledge to the sales team. The main missions are to ensure successful design, validation and implementation of products, by supporting sales for product design, product positioning and demonstration, and supporting customers for application development work, initial startups and training.Main Responsibilities & Tasks:Support the sales organization on existing products through product presentations, demonstrations and application studies, and on new products in close collaboration with product management through beta sites testing and demonstrationsBe responsible for the assigned product line (Bioreactor Technology) to support sales target achievement in the defined territory (West region, India, Pune base location)Support sales in the customer process and URS analysis, and generate application trials to help designing optimized products in line with the application requirementsProvide technical support proactively, answer inquiries and resolve implementation problems in the field for customersSupport quality department in the quality complaint process by troubleshooting and analyzing customers processes for better investigation and resolutionCollect, compile, verify and analyze data on the assigned product line performance and customer feedback to identify product features that need to be changed to meet customer needsReport on competitors\' products and feedback information to the application specialist management and products managementProvide basic product training to internal sales and dealers, and running external customer workshops and seminarsConduct trials and demos to achieve intended results and create trial reports to product management and sales teamsCollaborate with interfaces to define the scope and acceptance criteria of trials and build professional trial reportsQualification & Skills:\xc2\xb7 Masters in Biological engineering| Bioprocess technology| Chemical engineering | Biochemistry |Biotechnology or equivalent\xc2\xb7 Minimum 10 years of Biotech industry upstream experience with exposure to Bioreactor technology, candidates with experience on Sartorius Bioreactor, Process development or MSAT experience will be preferred.\xc2\xb7 Product and application expertise\xc2\xb7 Ability to effectively interface with product/project/division management\xc2\xb7 Ability to interact at various levels (sales, technical, users)\xc2\xb7 Fluent in English plus other local languages\xc2\xb7 Computer proficient in Windows-based software package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and outlookAbout SartoriusSartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
