Job Description

Fiber Broadband Internet OTT & CCTV technician is required for a firm to handle all the broadband Internet Network & CCTV related queries, Knowledge of Computer Hardware Networking with optical fiber & CCTV is an advantage.

Some of the duties of a fiber optic technician include:

Installing and repairing fiber optic cables

Handling bamboo and other ladder for layout wiring fiber optical cables

Testing fiber optic systems

Configuring fiber optic systems for data transmission

Troubleshooting and diagnosing fiber optic faults

Providing technical assistance and training to customers

Organizing scheduled maintenance routines

Optical Fiber splicing

Investigating current optical and laser fiber optics systems and devices.

Resolve, repair and install fiber optics systems, ensuring they work properly.

Examine and replace faulty and/or old fiber optic cables.

Organize scheduled maintenance routines.

Take care of fiber splicing and rectify fiber optic problem areas.

Develop sensor indicators and conduct timely inspections, so that a faulty fiber optic system does not destabilize its performance.

Execute premises cabling and take care of the underground and underwater cabling requirements.

Keep track of the signal strength of different devices including television, telephone, and high-speed internet.

Formulate and maintain system records and system designs.

Troubleshooting computer related problems on the client site as required.

Marketing for new connections in local locality.

Pay: ?6,000.00 - ?8,000.00 per month
