Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Executive to join our team at a prominent satellite news channel. The successful candidate will play a critical role in generating revenue by selling advertising space to clients, fostering strong relationships, and creating tailored solutions that meet advertisers' needs.
Advertising Sales and Revenue Generation:
Identify and approach potential advertisers, agencies, and businesses to promote and sell advertising opportunities.
Develop and present compelling sales proposals to prospective clients.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
Act as the primary point of contact for advertisers, addressing inquiries and providing solutions promptly.
Collaborate with clients to understand their marketing goals and offer customized advertising packages.
Market Research and Strategy Development:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging industry trends.
Analyze competitors' activities to refine sales strategies.
Develop innovative advertising packages and pricing strategies to attract a diverse client base.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with the content, programming, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
Coordinate with the marketing team to align advertising efforts with the channel's branding and promotional strategies.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track the performance of advertising campaigns and provide detailed reports to clients and management.
Use data-driven insights to improve sales strategies and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media Studies, or a related field.
Proven experience in advertising sales, preferably in the broadcasting or media industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Target-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Knowledge of the satellite news and broadcasting industry is a plus.
