This will involve assessing all attributes of risk that apply and the controls required to handle risks as a daily component of the work we undertake. Instilling a culture of risk will necessitate independent thinking about how various initiatives will apply to individual specific content sets in partnership with the business and operational partners.This role will work with a large cross functional team and associated collaborators to implement the central group risk policies. Additionally, it will also involve working with audit teams to enact improvements associated to risk management activities as the need arises and crafting a culture of continuous improvement.ROLE SUMMARY:

  • Drive the strategy for evolving the maturity of Financial Content Operations Risk functions in preparation for DORA and future regulatory demands whilst meeting wider LSEG Group Risk obligations.
  • Engage with our partners to form relationships that benefit all the team facilitating the delivery of strategic objectives.
  • Constructing a portfolio of business and organisational risk requirements to translate into tangible specifications for action across FCO and in conjunction with relevant partners.
  • Coordinate around common standards and themes for risk management designs ensuring that standard methodologies are in place to present information about FCO real-estate (data, databases, data flows, sources, and processes) to any interested audit groups.
  • Champion the team through use of domain specific expertise to ensure that all mechanisms exist to assess and report on risk management across FCO.
WHAT YOU\'LL BE DOING:
  • Working with Group Risk, IA and other groups to implement LSEG Group Risk Policies.
  • Constructing the design framework for Control assurance and Risk Action Plans across Financial Content Operations organisation at the heart of providing content to D&A Products.
  • Review, audit and improve the insight generated from all activities undertaken to describe the risks to our real-estate.
  • Leading the reporting on FCO maturity on Risk curve.
WHAT YOU\'LL BRING:
  • Experience in developing expert knowledge to build SMEs for application of risk policies on Financial Content Operations
  • Strong grasp of Group Risk policies as they apply to FCO
  • Significant previous experience in communicating information to senior managers and knowledge of business case planning process
  • Knowledge of external regulations and risk principles that affect the FCO organisation
  • Proven skills for influencing others and building positive relationships with key personnel at all levels of the group
  • Understanding of process mapping and data structures
