The key responsibilities of a waiter in a cafe typically include:
1. Customer Service : Providing friendly and attentive service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
2. Menu Knowledge : Understanding the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer questions and make recommendations.
3. Taking Orders : Accurately taking food and drink orders from customers and entering them into the system.
4. Serving Food and Beverages : Delivering orders to the table promptly and checking in with customers to ensure satisfaction.
5. Maintaining Cleanliness : Keeping the dining area clean and organized, including clearing tables and resetting them for new customers.
6. Handling Payments : Processing payments, including cash and credit transactions, and providing receipts.
7. Collaborating with Staff : Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service.
8. Managing Customer Concerns : Addressing any issues or complaints from customers promptly and professionally.
