Job Description


:A). Portfolio Management - F&B Industry * Ensure execution of F&B portfolio - MSC & Training month on month as per AOP (Business Plan).

  • Forecast F&B portfolio, resource planning and resource qualification as an input to AOP (Business Plan) year on year.
  • Extend cooperation and support to planning and review team to secure and book audits as per GSP for F&B Industry
  • Track to ensure compliance to applicable mandatory unannounced audits and auditor rotation for relevant schemes.
  • Organize training session for Planning team when required by specific scheme owner.
  • Support RC team to secure RC contracts and minimize / keep attrition level within target.
B). Resource Management (F&B) * Make available qualified resources to Planning team for smooth planning and execution of F&B portfolio.
  • Ensure timely recruitment of new resources as per approved AOP (Business Plan)
  • Ensure completion of qualification for new Auditors & Trainers and additional scheme qualification of existing auditors as per agreed timeline.
  • Ensure maintenance of qualification of auditors every year as per scheme requirements.
  • Comply to utilization target of auditors as per AOP (Business Plan).
  • Optimize utilization of subcontractors and achieve Global and Local KPIs on resource utilization.
  • Organize mandatory calibration session for the auditors as per scheme requirement and as and when requested by Key Customer
  • Close collaboration with F&B Resources to ensure team engagement for improving quality of delivery.
  • Routinely organize team meeting with auditors and share updates on scheme requirements, processes, customers expectations etc.
  • Track to ensure timely completion of Timecards and Expense Statements by all F&B auditors.
  • Monitor performance and provide feedback to F&B Auditors
  • Build good personal and professional relationships across all functions of the Organization.
C). Liaising with Global Food Hub / GTH * Support to achieve Global KPIs for scheme certification including GFSI benchmarked schemes.
  • Coordination with Global Food Hub to timely resolve any operational/technical issues.
  • Support GFH to complete required Internal Audits as and when required/requested.
  • Facilitate and actively participate in scheme owner / accreditation audits.
  • Liaison with GFH for auditors qualification and qualification maintenance
D). Customer Focus * Manage Key accounts and client relationships to meet customers\' expectations.
  • Take initiative to resolve any issue raised by customer on timely manner.
  • Record customer feedback and initiate corrective action in case of any complaints timely.
E). As an Auditor * Perform Food Safety / Quality / other management system audits according to Scheme owner / GFSI / Accreditation/ DNV protocol to create value to customers.
  • Maintain own qualification and extend qualification as per plan
  • Understand and follow relevant DNV systems, tools, work processes and methodology.

  • Masters or Graduate in Agriculture / Science with Food/ Agriculture/ Horticulture / Veterinary / Equivalent discipline from a reputed institute.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in Food Industry or food chain discipline include audit and / or inspection, out of which minimum 2 years has to be in Quality or Production function.
  • Further, minimum 4 years\' experience in Auditing, Inspection and Training
  • Experience in Operations and Resource Management will be preferred
  • Knowledge of FSSAI regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients at all levels of an organization including senior management
  • Ability to read/interpret audit protocols, labour regulations and work instructions
  • Ability to write thorough audit reports
