POSITION TITLE : F & B SERVICE EXECUTIVEDEPARTMENT : FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICEREPORTS TO : F & B MANAGER / ASSISTANT F & B MANAGERSUMMARY:Executive oversees the day-to-day operations of dining facilities. This includes the recruitment, training and management of staff, the procurement of services and inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Food and beverage Executive can find employment in a variety of environments including restaurants, hotels & banquet halls.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • To be responsible for managing the time keeping records for all team members on your shift.
  • To ensure the effective management, motivation, training and development of all team members employed in the bars and restaurants.
  • To ensure facilities comply with all relevant legislation relating to health and safety, food hygiene regulations and licensing legislation
  • To promote a safe, healthy and environmentally secure environment.
  • To ensure the ongoing compliance with statutory requirements relating to the work of the Department
  • To assist in the effective and efficient management and delivery of all Bar, Restaurant and Conference Food and Beverage activities.
  • To act as team leader within the Food and Beverage operation.
  • To act as Duty Manager as required.
  • A food and beverage supervisor attends to customer complaints or issues, resolving matters as expediently as possible.
  • Executive also oversee food preparation, food storage and dining areas, ensuring that the facility remains in compliance with safety regulation and
codes. * Performance management and disciplinary actions are administered as required.
  • Executive also schedule employees for work.
  • They also maintain employee records and administer payroll and benefits. Also, the management of incoming funds and accounts payable are often the responsibility of the food and beverage executive.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:Graduate / Diploma in HMEXPERIENCE:4-5 years with atleast 1-2 years as a Captain
