Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaboration with Design Team: Work closely with the design team to understand and interpret their creative concepts Translate design ideas into feasible product development plans Ensure efficient communication between merchandising and design for smooth workflow 2. Vendor Management Identify and collaborate with reliable vendors and suppliers Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective production Monitor and oversee vendor performance to maintain product quality and timely deliveries. 3. Buyer Relations Establish and maintain strong relationships with buyers and clients Understand buyer requirements, preferences, and market trends Act as a bridge between buyers and the production team to ensure customer satisfaction. 4. Production Timelines: Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery Monitor and track production progress, addressing any delays or issues proactively. Continuously improve production efficiency to meet deadlines and maintain product quality. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Fashion with master degree in Fashion management Proven experience as a Fashion Merchandiser or in a similar role within the fashion industry. Strong knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and production processes. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and relevant merchandising software.
