Job Description

• Design and deliver fashion design curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Create lesson plans, course materials, and assessments aligned with the program's objectives.
• Teach a range of courses, including garment construction, fashion illustration, textiles, fashion history, and CAD for fashion.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and design innovation in students.
• Provide academic counseling and mentorship to students, helping them develop their portfolios and career paths.
• Offer guidance on technical and creative aspects of fashion design projects.
• Organize and supervise student workshops, design projects, and presentations.
• Engage in ongoing research within the fashion industry to stay up to date with trends, techniques, and materials.
• Attend and contribute to fashion design conferences, exhibitions, and workshops.
• Publish research or work that contributes to the academic reputation of the school.
• Collaborate with faculty members from other departments, such as marketing, business, and textiles, to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Build relationships with industry professionals, brands, and designers to create opportunities for student internships, showcases, and collaborations.
• Grade assignments, projects, and exams.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their work and progress.
• Organize fashion design competitions or exhibitions to showcase student talent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
