Key Responsibilities:
- Develop concepts for new design collections, creating sketches and prototypes.
- Create design patterns, ensure design feasibility and oversee sample creation.
- Ensure quality control and adapt designs for mass production.
- Manage the design process from conception through to final styling.
- Degree from a reputed design institute.
- Proficient in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of patterns and garment construction.
- Ability to create detailed design sketches and tech packs for production.
- Understanding of different fabrics and garment styles.
- Experience with hand, adda and machine embroidery.
- E-commerce experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in line with the brands voice and tone.
- Passionate about fashion with keen trend awareness.
- Ability to sketch by hand.
- Experience with computerized embroidery machines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
