Job Title: Faculty for Business Analytics

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced faculty member to join our Business Analytics program. The ideal candidate will bring both academic expertise and practical industry experience to teach, mentor, and develop our students in business analytics and data science. This role requires a passion for teaching and research in data-driven decision-making, data science applications, and analytics solutions across various business domains. The faculty member will be instrumental in fostering a robust learning environment, conducting research, and contributing to the continuous development of our business analytics curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching:
• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Business Analytics, Data Science, and related fields.
• Develop, update, and deliver course content, including lectures, assessments, and projects.
• Use innovative teaching techniques and tools to engage students and enhance their learning experiences.
• Research and Scholarship:
• Conduct research in business analytics, data science, or related areas.
• Publish in reputable journals and present at conferences.
• Collaborate with industry and academic partners on research initiatives.
• Curriculum Development:
• Design and refine curriculum and course offerings to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Integrate case studies, industry projects, and real-world applications into coursework.
• Stay updated on the latest analytical tools and software, ensuring students gain hands-on experience.
• Student Mentorship and Advising:
• Provide academic and career guidance to students, including supervising capstone projects, internships, and thesis work.
• Support students in building analytical skills and understanding industry applications.
• Industry Engagement:
• Build and maintain partnerships with industry leaders to facilitate guest lectures, internships, and collaborative projects.
• Organize seminars, workshops, and events to enhance students' industry exposure.
• Institutional Contribution:
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and other academic activities.
• Contribute to the development and success of the Business Analytics program and the institution.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching or training in business analytics or data science.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics tools, software, and methodologies, such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• A proven track record of research and publications (preferred).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Industry experience in data analytics or a related field is a plus.
