Apart from this, GAVL also has a joint venture with the ACI group of Bangladesh for animal feed business in Bangladesh.For more information on the Company, please log on to .DesignationFactory Manager - LoteLocationLote ParshuramJob PurposeAs a Factory Manager - Lote, you will spearhead transformative initiatives, driving operational excellence and innovation to elevate our manufacturing prowess, fostering a legacy of efficiency and leadership in the industry.Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for overall operations of the factory.
  • Accountable for achieving Production, Maintenance, Quality, Dispatch and Safety targets.
  • Monitoring, coordinating, directing & facilitating production & maintenance team & day to day activities.
  • Will be responsible for timely production & dispatch of all products ensuring standard quality & yields.
  • Will be responsible for maintenance of plant & machineries of the factory.
  • Responsible for new Project implementation and related compliances.
  • Should be able to contribute towards developing/ implementing long range Production Strategies.
  • Expertise in validation process and major trouble shooting.
  • will be responsible for implementation & compliance of IMS. (well versed with QMS, EHS & OSHAS)
  • Ensure continuous improvement of technology, product quality, safety and environment.
  • Be a diplomatic interface with Government/ Statutory authorities.
  • Productivity Improvement and Cost Reduction through innovative ideas.
  • Should develop, manage and lead a team of professionals and engage them for high performance.
  • Assist in defining/formulating HSE Policies.
  • Assist the Occupier for compliance of responsibilities as prescribed under the Factories Act, Environment Act and accountable on behalf of the Occupier with respect to Legal requirements
  • will be responsible for ensuring availability, control & inventory management of all required raw materials, packing materials and engineering spares & consumables.
  • will be responsible for ensuring compliance of DISH, MPCB, Agriculture Department, EC, ALC, MSEB & MIDC.
Educational Qualification:
  • BE Chemical Engineering or BTech
Experience:
  • 10-15 years of experience and out of which minimum 3 years of experience as Production head/Plant Head/Site Head/Factory Manager in Agrochemicals or Chemicals manufacturing plant. Experience to handle a team of 100 employees in previous stint.
Skills:
  • Possess an extensive understanding of best-in-class technology
  • Must be aware & able to handle grievances & union members. Skillful in driving company policy in right manner and lead the factory team effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond effectively to changing priorities and requirements
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to make sound decisions that align with organizational goals and objectives
