Job Summary: The Factory Manager will oversee the manufacturing operations within our interior design production facility. This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of interior design manufacturing processes, excellent managerial skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Management:
• Plan, organize, and direct the manufacturing processes to ensure the most efficient production of high-quality interior design products.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet client delivery timelines.
• Monitor production activities and adjust schedules as needed.
• Quality Control:
• Establish and enforce quality control standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet design specifications and quality requirements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and mentor a team of production workers, including training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Oversee the storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Health and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety training for employees.
• Investigate and resolve any safety incidents or accidents.
• Budget and Cost Control:
• Develop and manage the factory's budget.
• Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Prepare regular financial and operational reports for senior management.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Schedule regular maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment servicing as needed.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology.
• Lead projects aimed at enhancing factory operations and output.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in the interior design industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions under pressure.
