Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Distillery Factory Incharge to oversee the operations of our distillery facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring quality standards, optimizing efficiency, and leading a team of operators and technicians. This role requires a strong understanding of distillation processes, equipment management, and safety protocols to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the factory.
Responsibilities
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to the workers
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Oversee and coach workers
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, including assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance.
• Plan and organize production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality targets.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred) OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, with a strong understanding of production processes and techniques.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, with a commitment to creating a safe work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
